Tortle Ninja turns 1 year today!? Time passes surprisingly fast!
We are so glad we made it this far, fam! 💪 This all became possible with all the support of the dearest partners, backers, beta testers, and the whole Tortle Ninja community! 🎉

OUR ONE-YEAR RECAP JOURNEY
Tortle Ninja team started to develop a no-code decentralized financial framework and made our first commit in the mid of May 2021.
We have come up with an objective to create easy-to-use DeFi strategies and products without coding expertise, to operate like whales, save these operations, share, and re-use them in the future.
Starting from June 2021 and so on, our founder and the team started to show the proof of concept and introduced Tortle Ninja to social media platforms. We also had the chance to present it at the Web Summit’s first week of November 2021. During those months of showing this interesting DeFi project, we can’t deny that we received a lot of good feedback from the VCs we have met, visitors of Web Summit, and our growing community on our social media platforms.
On December 10th, 2021, we happily announced that Tortle Ninja is officially moving all its operations to the Fantom Ecosystem, which makes us the first Fantom-native application to allow users to create their own trading and farming strategies on-chain.
In addition to that, we are aligning with other Fantom builders, onboarding exciting investors, and getting help and advice from some of the best angel investors in the ecosystem.
On the third week of December, we officially had our first VCs, Stakely, Solidity Ventures, and Blackedge Capital, and on the first week of January, we also welcomed these outstanding VCs, Spark Digital Capital, D21 Ventures, and Prometeus Lab. Before the month of January ends, we excitedly announced that Oddiyana Ventures joined Tortle Ninja too.
Then the following months the team keeps on building with the development, and we have just made our first public last week of March.
On April, we announced three partnerships. First, our strategic partnership with Tartarus Finance to host the sale of $TORTLE, the Tortle Ninja’s governance, and trade token.
Second, with our partnership with Airc02 as part of our efforts to be more sustainable, Tortle Ninja will be Carbon Positive before the end of this year. AirCO2 is a startup that calculates your carbon footprint and lets you compensate for it by paying forest owners and maintainers, making the forest profitable. Including them in the economy is a great way to contribute to the fixation of CO2 from the atmosphere.
Lastly, Tortle Ninja and Spooky Swap have formed yet another fantastic partnership.
Spooky Swap is the biggest Fantom Opera network automated market-making (AMM) decentralized exchange (DEX) and also the favorite farming option for most Fantom users.
As you know Tortle Ninja is not a DEX by itself, it connects our users to all the Fantom ecosystems, and Spooky Swap will be our premium partner, on which all our Swaps will be executed. Additionally, Spooky Farms will be available through Tortle, expect nice surprises on that.
Tortle and Spooky together mean that you can access the biggest TVL and liquidity at Fantom and at the time you create your own strategies.
On May 16th, we just finished the product and starts opening our closed beta test (beta.tortle.ninja). As of the moment, we have 100 active participants with more than 40 recipes.

Before the month of May ends, we just happily announce our integration with Chainlink to help us secure our DeFi strategies. By integrating the industry-leading decentralized oracle network, Tortle Ninja has access to high-quality, tamper-proof price feeds needed to help accurately determine the price of assets in our Combo Triggers feature. This will provide our users with stronger assurances that the multistep investing strategies used on our platform — known as Combo Recipes — are using reliable market prices.
Our initial integration involves the use of the USD pairs of the following Chainlink Price Feeds on Fantom: AAVE, ALPACA, BIFI, BNB, BOO, BTC, BUSD, CHF, CREAM, CRV, CVX, DAIETH, EUR, FRAX, FTM, LINK, MIM, MIMATIC, SNX, SPELL, SUSHI, USDC, USDT, UST, and YFI. We chose Chainlink as our go-to oracle solution because its infrastructure is seamless to integrate and time-tested in production.
Also, Kucoin Labs has recently joined our strategic round as an investor. With them, we basically complete our strategic funding round with some best-in-class crypto funds worldwide.
KuCoin Labs has invested in some of the most research-intensive projects of this generation, and it’s an honor to have them with us, as they will also help with business development, marketing, and high-level partnerships.
