It’s official — AutoLayer has partnered up with Everclear!
In preparation for an upcoming new version release and the introduction of new token designs in AutoLayer, we’re happy to announce that with the help of Everclear’s technology, our $LAY3R token is now an xERC20 token. This is a huge step forward for us as this enables chain-abstraction across all of our products.
What this means is that users can seamlessly bridge $LAY3R to any chain with zero slippage and perfect fungibility. Users can also restake tokens directly from any chain, and that unlocks more possibilities — AutoLayer’s strategies will not be restricted to a single chain, but can now utilize any protocol, asset, and chain with universal composability.
Along with these, the security features of xERC20 also include a whitelisting function for AutoLayer that controls which bridges can mint and burn $LAY3R, thus bringing both security and flexibility to the token. Currently, the Everclear Bridge allows you to transfer $LAY3R between Ethereum, Arbitrum, and BNBChain.
