EthCC[7] has just concluded, and what an event it was — filled with insightful talks, powerful presentations, great food, and good vibes. The DeFi community banded together to make this conference a huge success, with several interesting protocols showcasing their features and progress. Of course, AutoLayer is included among them. Here’s a quick recap of all the events we took part in.
Epic Web3’s Restaking and Infra Day
The first thing on AutoLayer’s EthCC agenda was participating in Epic Web3’s Restaking and Infra Day on July 8, 2024. It started with a keynote speech from our CEO, Javi Blanco Thomas, entitled: “Restaking and LRTs: The Path Ahead.” Here, Javi talked about how Liquid Restaking Tokens (LRTs) have exploded in popularity over the past 6 months, what their future holds, and some ideas for an efficient economy when it comes to said LRTs, centered mostly around AVSs.
Javi was also part of a panel discussion entitled “The Future of Liquid Staking and Restaking” also featuring Marin Tvrdic from Lido Finance, Alon Muroch from SSV Network, Nader Dabit from EigenLayer, and Grigore Rosu from Pi Squared, with Ray Xiao from IOSG Ventures as the moderator.

The BNB Incubation Alliance and EthCC Networking
AutoLayer also participated in the BNB Incubation Alliance event where Javi was, once again, the keynote speaker in “Restaking and LRTs on BNBChain: The Path Ahead.” Besides talking about the surging popularity of LRTs, Javi also presented what the AutoLayer team has been working on for the BNB chain, such as BNB Chain structured products, Liquidity Proxy Tokens (LPTs), AVS and LRT scoring, Multi LRTs, and LRT Vaults
On July 9, 2024, AutoLayer co-hosted a networking event with Morningstar Ventures, ParaSwap, and Tap Protocol. Like-minded builders, investors, and creators all came together for drinks.
