Q1 — Why did you choose the name “Tortle Ninja”?
As we come from the corporate world, we always have to work on serious stuff, and we wanted to create something fun, something fresh.
Founder: Okay, we want to create something that will protect users from volatility. So, we wanted to create a character with a shell, that it’s hard to break. And also can take the best from chainlinks and oracles in “quick moves” like a Ninja.
Q2 — Are strategies public to everyone? How you can integrate with these strategies? Can you explain what are the safety measures with this product?
You can actually set it as public or private. If you make it public, it’s available for the community. If you make it private, only the owner of the wallet can see it.
We can have a good standard when it comes to security.
I’m very concerned about that. I see too many projects just having problems because of security. But I think we are pretty good and ready on that because my team has been making software together for many years and as for now, we never had a security breach in the last ten years.

Q3— How do you plan on educating people as to the risks and the rewards and the benefits and the increased risks of combining strategies?
We have the idea of creating what we call #TortleUni, so we can create content about the combos and strategies. We can also let the users watch the outcome of the recipe, so they can understand how risky these strategies are.
Q4— What’s the utility of the token?
What we want to do with the token is give users the ability to use advanced features. Apart from governance and being able to decide whose part of the fees of the protocol goes, and win some part of the fees that you take, the first product related to the token is what we call “Tortle Relief Fund”.
It’s a fund, similar to catastrophic insurance, in case of the protocol in total suffers a catastrophic event that affects Tortle users we can refund them. We are creating an insurance product that you can put on your recipe, paid only with Tortle Tokens.
We can help the community educate themselves about what strategies are better.
It’s a great educational tool in case you want to start from the work of other trader or other farmer just changing small things. DeFi is full of opportunities.
